Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 250°C (475°F) and place the pizza stone inside to heat up.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled dough onto a baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Spread the crushed tomatoes evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Tear the fresh mozzarella cheese into small pieces and distribute them over the tomato sauce.
- Drizzle olive oil on top, and sprinkle with salt and a pinch of sugar to enhance the flavor.
- Carefully transfer the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone in the oven.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and add fresh basil leaves on top before serving.
